Founded in 1920 by Charles Frederick Doncaster On Portland Street in Newark, F. Doncasters Butchers has become an integral part of the community of independent traders in the town. For 100 years we have sourced quality local produce to the people of Newark and surrounding villages. We have also expanded our family business to include shops in Claypole and Southwell.
Now fourth generation, F. Doncasters Butchers is still a family run business that prides itself on producing most products in-store, when we say homemade, we mean homemade! We are passionate and professional butchers with a century of knowledge and skill, which we are keen to share with you! While we are always proud of our past and traditions, we strive to stay current with new ideas and innovations.
Part of paving a new future is by making our business as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. We've cut down our plastic usage and have replaced packaging with recyclable/biodegradable alternatives where possible.
